LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police said a suspicious package found at St. Matthews' Brown Park was not suspicious or dangerous after all.  Police announced the finding about three hours after a passerby first found the package and reported it to Baptist East Hospital security, police said.

WDRB's Emily Mieure reports from the scene that the park entrances and nearby streets were to reopen to the public about 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Local police evacuated Brown Park and closed traffic on Browns Lane and the intersection of Bowling Boulevard and South Hubbards Lane during a busy afternoon rush hour.
