Woodford Reserve is teaching bourbon lovers the art of making culinary cocktails
Woodford Reserve is holding two class specially designed to introduce guests to the art of making culinary cocktails. Chef Ouita Michel stopped by to explain what a cocktail flavor wheel is.
Michel says a seasonal Cocktail flavor wheel is designed to introduce their palate to flavors that go best with Woodford Reserve Bourbon in a delicious drink. Guests will taste peaches, honey, sorghum, savories, and herbs with Woodford Reserve, and discuss using those ingredients to make culinary versions of classic summer cocktails.
The Art of the Culinary Cocktail class will be on August 3 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles. The class cost $50 per person.
