LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new store in La Grange gives residents something they've never had before.  All Aboard Liquors opened Friday morning -- it's the first liquor store to open in the city since it passed expanded alcohol sales.

The owners say it will change the way people shop and put dollars into the local economy.

Co-owner Dan Dotey explains how people will change their thinking: "Well, honey, now that we need to go to Jefferson County, while we are there let's eat.  Now that it is a destination, those dollars they'll eat here now, and shop here now and be local, and we're thrilled to be a part of it."

One retail store in La Grange has been selling alcohol since the city went wet last July.  A grocery plans on doing it soon.
