LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An 8 year old Kentucky boy takes matters into his own hands to raise money to help his beloved pet.
8 year old Ryder raised his own money to buy his dog a wheelchair.
The dog needed it after being diagnosed with degenerative mylopathy.
The boy sold these key chains and magnets.
In just a few days, he raised $315, more than enough to buy the wheelchair.
The dog is adjusting well to his new set of wheels.
Ryder donated the extra money he raised to the Humane Society.
