LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- New containers in the city are making it easier to recycle while on the go.
District 9 Metro Councilwoman Tina Ward-Pugh unveiled three new permanent recycling containers in her district.
One of the new recycling bins is in front of Carmichel's bookstore on Frankfort Avenue.
Two others bins are located in front of the former Boys and Girls Club on Story Avenue, and at the TARC Bus stop on Frankfort Avenue between the railroad tracks and Caffe Classico.
River Metals Recycling donated the money to pay for the new bins.
