LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The public now has a few more weeks to comment on problems with bacteria in the Floyds Fork watershed.

Kentucky's Division of Water is giving people until Aug. 29 to make comments about E. Coli levels in the water. Before, residents only had until the end of July to let the state know about the water problems.

The report addresses bacteria found in Jefferson, Bullitt, Oldham and Shelby counties, among others. Some of the affected waters are common places for swimming, boating and wading.
