LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say two people were arrested after they were involved in an accident with a marked police car.
It happened near the corner of 28th St. and Broadway on Wednesday night, just before 11 p.m.
Police say 29-year-old Chad E. Wagner of Prospect was driving a red 2001 Saturn, with 19-year-old Kara B. Beckley of La Grange in the passenger seat, when he was involved in the non-injury accident with the marked police cruiser.
According to the arrest report, Beckley began stuffing items into her purse as an officer approached. When asked what was there, she allegedly told the officer that she had, "weed in her purse."
But that's not all that was there, police say.
Police allegedly found Xanax pills, two needles, a metal spoon with suspected heroin residue, a small bag of marijuana and a glass pipe.
Wagner and Beckley were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
