LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A major Nashville-area developer has plans to build two new shopping centers in Louisville.
The developer recently filed its plans with the Metro Planning Commission.
Middletown Commons will be located on Shelbyville Road near the Gene Snyder. Another shopping area called Jefferson Commons will be built on Outer Loop near the Jefferson Mall.
Both sites are about 30 acres and will have about a dozen stores.
Construction is expected to start next spring. There's no word yet on which stores will move in to the properties.
