"X-treme" yard sale to help Alzheimer's patients

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A local assisted living home goes to extreme measures to help those affected by Alzheimer's.

The Golden Living center held a yard sale benefit to give back to those helping Alzheimer's patients.

The "X-Treme" yard sale included donated items for sale along with a raffle drawing for prizes.

Local vendors like Comfy Cow and other Westport Village Shops donated the prizes .

The event also featured live music and food.

The goal was to raise 2-thousand dollars to donate to the Alzheimer's Association's "Walk to End Alzheimer's" which is scheduled for September.
