LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A woman is under arrest, after a SWAT standoff early Wednesday on Greenwood Avenue.

LMPD Lieutenant Dale Massey tells WDRB that the woman was wanted in connection with the stabbing of another woman. That stabbing reportedly happened near 22nd and Date Streets late Tuesday night.

The stabbing victim was taken to the hospital, but her condition is not known. She told investigators the name of the woman who allegedly assaulted her.

Dozen police vehicles surrounded the home on 36th Street about 3 a.m., after an officer spotted the suspect. She locked herself in the home but came out on her own about two hours later.

WDRB captured exclusive video as SWAT officers in full gear escorted the hand-cuffed woman to a waiting police cruiser.  Lieutenant Massey says the suspect will likely be charged with first degree assault.
