LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An undercover operation at a state correctional facility has led to the arrest of a worker at the Luther Luckett Correctional Complex.
A police report says Louisville Metro Police helped out Kentucky State Corrections in the undercover investigation. It says an undercover LMPD detective approached a worker with the Kentucky Correctional Psychiatric Center who was suspected of smuggling drugs into the facility.
The report says the worker, identified in the report as Ronald Peak, accepted an ounce of marijuana from the officer and was arrested. It says Peak admitted to accepting the drugs, which would be given to an inmate.
Peak is charged with promoting contraband, official misconduct, and trafficking in marijuana.
