LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It's a new and unique way to honor fallen Bardstown Officer Jason Ellis and help his family at the same time.

The Old Kentucky Home FOP Lodge is selling Bardstown Police badge replicas.  A black sash on them honors Ellis, who was ambushed on his way home nearly three months ago.

Investigators think tree limbs were intentionally placed on an off-ramp to the Bluegrass Parkway as part of a plan to kill Ellis.  No arrests have been made.

All proceeds from the $10 badges will benefit his fund.
