Come on down to our 8th Annual Big Ol' Backyard BBQ where you'll hoot 'n holler and have a good time for a great cause!

The Brown Hotel's Laurent Geroli has adopted the Home of the Innocents and its annual fundraiser. He recruits chefs and volunteers to put on a huge party to benefit the home for medically-fragile children. The Home of the Innocents' Meredith Pack explains how the money is used and the needs of their clients.

Baked Beans

8 Cups Baked Beans

8 oz Beef Tips

12 ea Cherry Tomatoes cut in Half

1 Cups BBQ Sauce

4 oz Brown Sugar

3 oz Apple Juice

1 Cup Large Yellow Onion Diced

1 Cup Bacon Diced

Sweat the bacon, beef, and onions until light coloration. Add cherry tomatoes, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, apple juice, and yellow onions cook for 10 minutes stirring regularly at low heat. Finally add baked beans and simmer for 45 minutes.

Grilled Corn on the Cob with Roasted Red Pepper Aioli

12 Ears of Corn

4 Large Red Peppers

5 Cloves of garlic chopped

1 Egg yolk

2 Cups Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Salt and Pepper


Blanch ears of corn and then grill. Salt and pepper for flavor.

Roasted Red Pepper Aioli

Roast 4 large red peppers in the oven for 30 minutes (or until skins starts to peel) at 350 degrees. Once they come out of the oven peel and deseed peppers. Put peppers in blender with garlic, egg yolks, extra virgin olive oil, and salt and pepper to taste.
