LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a man has been arrested after he sexually abused an unconscious patient who was receiving treatment in an east Louisville office.
According to an arrest report, the incident happened on Aug. 21 at 12:45 p.m. Police say the victim was undergoing medical treatment at an office at 214 Breckenridge Lane.
While the victim -- a male patient -- was unconscious, police say 49-year-old Michael B. York sexually groped the patient and committed a sex act.
The victim would not have consented to the sexual act, according to the arrest report, but managed to capture the incident via a video recording device.
York was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with first degree sexual abuse. According to Kentucky's Public Protection Cabinet, he was at one time a certified alcohol and drug counselor, whose license expired in 2005.
