LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- There could be signs of progress in a bitter battle between two Louisville-based healthcare giants.
Norton Healthcare officials tell WDRB News they have reached out to the University of Louisville.
The war of words between the two began last week when Norton, which operates Kosair Children's Hospital, announced it wanted to partner with University of Kentucky Healthcare and Children's Hospital of Lexington.
Officials with U of L say the intention would violate a lease agreement with the state.
WDRB News has tried to contact both agencies to elaborate on the progress, but they have not yet responded.
