LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Deputy Chief for Camp Taylor Fire Protection District retired today after allegations of a sexually hostile work environment.

Steve Adkins is retiring after serving 38 years with the district.

George Givens and Michael Killebrew filed a complaint last month, claiming Adkins fostered a hostile workplace.

Camp Taylor was under investigation due to the allegations which included simulated sex acts, inappropriate language and physical abuse.

The civil complaint is pending and there are motions to dismiss it in a hearing on September 19th.
