LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Feisty felines and cuddly cats are on display this weekend for a competition.
The Kentuckiana Cat Club is holding its 52nd annual Championship Cat Club at the Kentucky Exposition Center.
The event features championship judging for purebred and household cats.
Cats collect ribbons points during these exhibits in hopes to capture the 2014 Cat of the Year honor.
This year's grand champions in both the purebred and household division are also featured this weekend.
This year, the exhibits feature rare breeds like the nebelung chimera.
The event also includes vendor stands for cat trees, supplies and bedding.
The cat show also runs Sunday from 9 to 4 p.m.
