Officials say they are considering scrapping plan to stagger tolls, aim for full tolling in fall 2016.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB)--Utility crews are cleaning up in Oldham County after storms passed through the area Saturday afternoon.
Fire officials in La Grange tell us much of the damage can be found on Highway 146, known as La Grange Road.
We're told storms passed through just after 4:00, and at least 30 utility poles snapped in both La Grange and Buckner.
Some landed on the road, and some on the nearby railroad.
Power lines are also down.
Train traffic was temporarily stopped.
Part of La Grange Road, from Highway 393 to the Kentucky State Reformatory, was also shut down.
We're told cleanup is expected to take up to several days.
LG&E crews were working earlier this evening, to try to clean up and repair the damage.
