LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A coroner says the Columbus Indiana woman found unresponsive on a boat at Patoka Reservoir died of a heart attack.
Indiana's Department of Natural Resources says 55-year-old Patti Hoskins-Owens went out swimming on a raft away from the boat. She yelled for help to get back to the boat, a news release says. But once she was there, she was unresponsive.
Three registered nurses were in the area and they swam over to the boat and began CPR until more help could arrive. The victim was taken to Harrison County Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
