LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana Governor Mike Pence is headed overseas, hoping to boost the state's economy.
The governor is on a nine-day trade mission to Japan, his first as governor. He's joined by his wife and a 40-member delegation made up of economic and development leaders, business owners, consultants and lawyers.
Planned stops include Tokyo, Nagoya, and Tochigi Prefecture -- Indiana's Japanese sister state. Japan is considered Indiana's largest trading partner in Asia.
