"4 Secrets the top Professional Personal Trainers use to get the most out of Your workout"
Fitness and Nutrition Expert Carlos Rivas shares his top secrets to help you achieve your goals at any age. Simply follow the advice below to get the most out of your workout.
1. Eat the right foods at the right times: Eating the right foods before and after your workout will give you the energy you need to take your workout to another level. Studies show that eating the right foods before and after your workout, will enhance your recovery time and help you perform better during your workout.
2. Mix it up with interval training: Many studies have found that adding short bursts into your fitness program will improve your fitness level and burn more calories. Interval training will also help you prevent boredom. Boredom is one of the factors that can derail your fitness program.
3. Slow down your pace: The speed at which you lift weights up and down is very important. Studies show that lowering the weights in a controlled slow pace will help you get stronger. We recommend that you use the 2-4 count; spend 2 seconds lifting the weight up and 4 seconds lowering it down.
4. Utilize Giant Sets: Maximize your time spent in the gym by doing 3 -4 exercises for the same muscle group back to back without much rest. For example, you can do an incline chest press, a flat bench press, chest fly's, and pushups to help you develop your chest muscles. For the legs, you can do squats, lunges, and deadlifts to maximize your results.
