LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police arrest two people they say dragged a friend's body and abandoned him in alley after the victim overdosed.

31-year-old Jessica Whann and 46-year-old Thomas Bronnenburg face charges of tampering with evidence, abuse of a corpse and theft.

Police say Whann admitted to shooting heroin with Christopher Pickerell on September 7.

Police say when Pickerell stopped breathing, Whann and Bronnenburg drove the man's body in his own car to an alley along Bardstown Road, where they left him.

Pickerell's body was found three days later, without his iPhone, wallet or car keys.
