Teddy Bridgewater and his mother, Rose Murphy, will be featured on College GameDay Saturday.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – College GameDay is going to Fargo, N.D. this weekend. They're reaching to make a football game between North Dakota State and Delaware State seem relevant.
But the folks at ESPN know that it's mainstream college football that still carries the show. And one of the mainstream features that will air Saturday is a segment about Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and his relationship with his mother, Rose Murphy, a breast cancer survivor.
Eric Crawford and Pat Doney told the story well a year ago at WDRB. Louisville plays host to Florida International Saturday at noon.
According to a release from ESPN, Bridgewater's story will be told by ESPN's best storyteller – Tom Rinaldi. He's the guy who gets summoned to work with Tiger Woods, Nick Saban and other big shots.
The ESPN release also says that the story is scheduled to air at 11:24 a.m.
