LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A bomb threat at the Bullitt County Courthouse led to an evacuation of several facilities, according to a sheriff's spokesman.
The courthouses, library, probation and parole, and the First Baptist Church were all evacuated, and a sweep was conducted.
Authorities told WDRB Web producer Dave Creek that the threat was called in at 1:12 Monday afternoon and that State Road 64, which runs in front of the courthouse, was closed for a brief time. .
The Louisville Metro Police Bomb Squad assisted with the investigation. A bomb-sniffing dog was on the scene, according to Creek.
