LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It looks like gay marriage is on the agenda for Indiana lawmakers.
The vote expected next year will decide whether to put a ban on gay marriage into the state constitution. A prominent conservative lobbying group is pushing for legislators to decide which side they'll take.
The survey, sent by Advance America to legislators, has a Thursday deadline. That's a day before the state Senate's majority Republicans have scheduled a private meeting.
Senate President Pro Tem David Long says GOP senators will discuss the marriage amendment, but that the meeting is unrelated to the survey.
