LOUISVILLE, Ky (WDRB) -- WDRB News has learned that there has been a shakeup at Greater Louisville Inc., the Louisville area Chamber of Commerce.
Sources have told us that several high-ranking managers at the organization are no longer employed there.
GLI, through a spokeswoman, would not confirm the number of people affected, or even if there had been layoffs.
However, the president of GLI, Craig Richard, did issue the following statement:
"Like most companies in the new economy, we're learning to do more with fewer resources. I am confident that our organizational changes will result in a more focused, tighter operation with an increased capacity for long-term success."
Richard took over the leadership post at GLI earlier this year.
The agency works to attract and keep new businesses in the region.
