The 6th annual Louisville Concours d' Elegance finds a new home in French Lick, IN. French Lick Resort becomes the backdrop for the Louisville Concours d'Elegance to celebrate the "competition of elegance" and to raise money for Kosair Children's Hospital October 4th - 6th.
Some of the most famous and historic collector cars in the country will be on display on the grounds like the 1930 Packard 740, Jaguar 1939 2 ½ Litre Saloon and Marmon 1925 D-74 to name a few
Over 100 cars will be competing for the coveted "Best in Show" crystal trophy. Other activities planned include refreshments and entertainment, a Kids & Cars tent and other events.
13 classes of cars will be represented including:
Packards CCCA (1925-1948) Packards non-CCCA (1937-1956) American classics CCCA (1925-1948) European Classics CCCA (1925-1948) American Automobiles Post War (1946-1964) Sports and Grand Touring Post War (1946-1974) American Muscle Cars (1964-1971) Corvettes (1953-1971) European Cars with American Drivetrains (1950-1975) Sports and Grand Touring (1975-1999) Race Car Open Wheel; Micro Cars and Super Cars (2000-2013)
Roadsters, muscle cars and concept cars will be grouped together. There will be special military displays and vintage fire trucks. The competition happens on Sunday, October 6th but enjoy an entire weekend of activities. West Baden Springs Hotel hosts the Great Gatsby Gala on Saturday, October 5 to benefit Kosair Children's Hospital, costumes encouraged.
The 2013 Louisville Concours d'Elegance will benefit pediatric oncology initiatives at Kosair Children's Hospital.
GENERAL ADMISSION Sunday, October 6th $15 in advance $20 at gate
