Deep dish loaded potato casserole is a hearty meal that's perfect for a fall evening

As the weather gets cooler, it becomes the perfect time to cook heartier foods. Chef Paul Dowell from Kroger is teaching us to bake a deep dish loaded potato casserole.

Deep Dish Loaded Potato
Makes 8-10 servings.

6 Large Baking Potatoes (scrubbed, baked, cooled and cut into 1" cubes)
2 cups Kroger Mayonnaise
2 cups Kroger Sour Cream
1 bunch Green Onions (sliced thin)
2 cups Kroger Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1-3 oz. package Kroger Real Bacon Bits
1 cup Private Selection Reduced Sodium Wildflower Ham (cut in ¼" cubes)
1 ½ cups Chopped Fresh Broccoli
½ teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
1 teaspoon Salt

This is great to plan on having extra baked potatoes from the meal the night before and make it a double duty meal.

Preheat oven to 325⁰ and lightly spray a 9"X13" casserole dish with pan release.

In a large mixing bowl, combine cubed potatoes, mayo, sour cream, green onions, 1 cup shredded cheddar, bacon bits, ham, broccoli, black pepper, and salt.  Toss well to combine.

Pour mixture into your prepared casserole dish.  Sprinkle the remaining cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top.  Bake for 25-30 minutes, should hot, bubbly, and browned on top.

This is a great hearty dish for the cooler weather!
