LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Despite some first day hiccups, Kentuckians are showing strong interest in the state's healthcare exchange.
Since Tuesday, nearly two million people have logged onto the Kynect website. That is the state-run marketplace that allows the public to shop for insurance plans free of charge.
People are given insurance options from three private companies, each offering four different plans.
Almost 109,000 people have been pre-screened. So far, individuals and families have started nearly 13,000 applications for insurance.
