LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Three men were arrested Thursday night at a smoke shop on South Third Street and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance.
Hazim Aldelaji, Saleh Kahim Al-Sudani, and Abdulkhaliq Al-Mousa were arrested after police entered the shop in the 3900 block of South Third Street just west of Southern Parkway.
Police say they found dozens of bags of artificial marijuana, also known as spice, in the business. Officers also say they found two pounds of actual marijuana, and pills including hydrocodone and Xanax. Police also say they found a shotgun and a 9 millimeter semi-automatic weapon.
A police report says the spice was packaged for sale and found in hidden compartments under display shelves and under the front counter.
