LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a Louisville man has been arrested after he made sexual comments to pre-teen cheerleaders at the Kentucky International Convention Center.
According to an arrest report, the incident took place on Sunday at 8 a.m.
Police say 43-year-old Brian L. Barnes had been yelling the sexual comments at the girls, who were walking into the convention center for a cheerleading competition, and that his actions were, "causing alarm to the children and others passing by."
A short time later, Louisville Metro Police officers were dispatched to the intersection of 3rd St. and Jefferson St. on a report of a disorderly person. When they arrived, they found Barnes, along with a couple of security officers from the convention center.
Police say the security officers told them Barnes had been given several trespass warnings, and that he has been a nuisance for months, becoming increasingly "verbally aggressive."
Barnes was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct.
