Shepherdsville Police looking for alleged bank robber

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Shepherdsville Police say they're looking for a man who robbed a bank Monday morning.

It happened at the Stock Yards Bank located on Adam Shepherd Parkway, near N. Buckman Street, at approximately 12:30 p.m.

Police say the man, pictured at right, walked into the bank, brandished a firearm and demanded that a teller give him money. The suspect them fled the bank on foot with an undetermined amount of cash, according to a press release.

The suspect is described as a white male with brown hair, approximately 6' tall, wearing plaid shorts, and a green t-shirt with a white long-sleeved shirt underneath it.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Shepherdsville Police Dept. at (502) 957-1001, or the anonymous tip line at (502) 215-1588.
