LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Shepherdsville woman died in a crash involving her car and a utility truck on Monday. Another person was hurt in the wreck.
The Bullitt County Coroner identified the woman as Betty J. Spriggs, 78.
Police said she died at the scene, Kentucky 44 east near Boardwalk Avenue. The crash happened just before 11 a.m. Monday.
Police said a white sedan driven by Spriggs and headed westbound on 44 lost control, crossed into oncoming traffic, and collided with a westbound Salt River RECC utility truck. Both vehicles came to rest on the side of the roadway, with the utility truck partially on top of the car.
The truck driver went to a hospital. His condition isn't known.
