LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB)- The coroner has now identified the woman shot and killed near 29th Street and West Madison Street on Saturday evening.
They identify her as 32-year-old Antoinette Finch.
The coroner says she died from a gunshot wound.
The shooting happened on West Madison Street near 29th Street around 9:40 Friday night.
Police say it started with a disagreement outside a home.
When they arrived, they found the woman lying on the ground.
The shooting drew a large crowd to the area. Police have been questioning neighbors and witnesses to try to find out exactly what happened.
Sunday evening, the family and friends of Antoinette Finch returned to the parking lot where she was shot to hold a candlelight vigil.
They put together a memorial to remember Finch, who was married and a mother of three.
Her family just wants answers.
"So if anybody out there has any form of information, I am pleading that you call in. You don't have to let it be known who you are. We just need to know. We want closure," says Tracy Finch, the victim's sister.
If you have information about the shooting, call 574-LMPD.
