LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Taylor County Sheriff's Department has canceled a Golden Alert for a Campbellsville man.

Police say 55-year-old John Gilbert Kessinger, who lives on Saloma Road in Campbellsville, went missing on Wednesday, October 9, around 1 p.m. by his wife.

Kessinger was found on Monday afternoon, October 14, in the Sonora, Kentucky area.

Police say Kessinger has been known to find rides to visit family in Dandridge, Tennessee near Knoxville, but family there has not heard from him.

Kessinger has been diagnosed with early stages of Alzheimer's.
