LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One of Jefferson County's smallest cities will be voting to oust a longstanding city council member tonight.
In a city plagued by ongoing budget woes, Audubon Park will hold a removal hearing for city councilman Al Huber.
Earlier this year it was revealed that city funds had been mis-managed for many years.
Although there is no proof of Huber's involvement or knowledge of the financial mis-management, other council members believe he should be removed for his inaction -- and simply to give the city a fresh start.
If the council votes to remove him, Huber will have a chance to appeal.
The removal hearing starts at 7:30 tonight at Audubon Traditional Elementary School. It's open to the public.
