LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they've made an arrest in a murder that took place over the weekend.
It took place near 29th St. and W. Madison St. on the evening of Saturday, Oct. 12.
Police say it started with a disagreement outside a home. That's when, they say, 18-year-old Rickita L. Glass shot 32-year-old Antoinette Finch in the chest.
Officers say they found Finch lying on the ground.
The shooting attracted a large crowd to the area. Police questioned neighbors and witnesses to try to find out exactly what happened.
On Thursday night, Oct. 17, Glass was arrested near her home on Louis Coleman Jr. Drive.
Sunday evening, the family and friends of Finch returned to the parking lot where she was shot to hold a candlelight vigil.
They put together a memorial to remember Finch, who was married and a mother of three.
Her family told us they just wanted answers.
"So if anybody out there has any form of information, I am pleading that you call in. You don't have to let it be known who you are. We just need to know. We want closure," says Tracy Finch, the victim's sister.
