Louisville man found guilty for Jeffersonville murder

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – A jury finds a Louisville man guilty for a murder that happened last December in Jeffersonville.

A Clark County jury found 36-year-old James Washington guilty of murder in the stabbing death of 55-year-old Robert Eader.

Prosecutors say the stabbing was the result of a dispute over a drug deal.

But Washington says he acted in self-defense and his attorney says Washington will appeal.

Sentencing is scheduled for November 18th.

Washington faces up to 85 years in prison.
