Bullitt County courthouses evacuated after bomb threat

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two Bullitt County court buildings in Shepherdsville were evacuated Monday after a bomb threat, but were soon declared clear.

The threat was phoned in early Monday.

K9 units from LMPD were brought in to search the buildings.

Bullitt County officials advise anyone who may have had a court date Monday to contact their attorney for further information.

Lt. Mike Murdoch said police are investigating the situation and following up on some information and leads they were given.  Courts will be open Tuesday as scheduled.
