LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A prosecutor says she will retry a Radcliff father charged with killing his 1-month-old son.
Jarrod Davis is charged with murder in the death of his infant son, Ja'Vion Davis, in January. An indictment says he "wantonly engaged in conduct that created a grave risk of death" to the child. Davis says he was burping the child when he dropped him.
Last week's trial ended with a hung jury.
Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Teresa Logsdon says she will continue pursuing those charges.
A hearing to be held on Oct. 29 in Hardin Circuit Court will schedule a new trial date.
