LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Investigators may be closer to cracking the Pappy Van Winkle bourbon heist.
The Franklin County Sheriff says his office has taken several tips on the man that appears in video to be wearing a Bardstown High School sweatshirt. He was a person of interest in the case.
Officers say the man recently went to a Hardin County liquor store trying to sell the owner a large quantity of Pappy Van Winkle bourbon. Last week, more than $26,000 worth of the bourbon disappeared from the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort.
