LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A ticket sold in Paintsville for Saturday night's Powerball drawing matched the five white balls drawn but not the Powerball, winning the game's second prize of $1 million.
The winning ticket will matched the following white ball numbers:
4 - 6 - 34 - 49 - 56
The ticket was sold at the Paintsville Smart Shop located at 1074 3rd Street.
According to Chip Polston, Vice President of Communications for the Kentucky Lottery, the winner will need to sign the back of the ticket and bring it to the lottery's Louisville headquarters to claim their prize.
"We're looking forward to meeting our newest millionaire," said Chip Polston, the Kentucky Lottery's VP of communications. "The winner should sign their name on the back of the ticket immediately, and then bring it to our Louisville headquarters when they're ready to claim their prize. We'll have the four-foot-long check waiting for them."
Polston says the winner has 180 days from Saturday's drawing to claim their prize.
The Powerball Jackpot for Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, is $50 million.
