LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The blue jackets are back in Louisville.  The National FFA Organization Convention has returned to the city for the first time since 2005.

The four-day event is expected to bring close to 60,000 people to the city, generating about $40 million for the local and state economy.

The convention was held in Louisville from 1999 to 2005.  Louisville will now host the convention through 2015.  It will then head to Indianapolis for three years.

U of L basketball coach Rick Pitino is the keynote speaker for the convention's opening session this afternoon.
