LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Shively Police say they've arrested a security guard at a local gentlemen's club after he fired over a dozen shots at people at or near the club.

The alleged incident took place on Sept. 15, according to an arrest warrant. Police say 42-year-old Mark A. Sullivan was working for the Dollhouse Gentlemen's Club on 7th St. Rd., near Berry Blvd., when a "large fight" broke out among the patrons.

According to the arrest warrant, Sullivan drew a firearm and fired 18 shots "in the direction of bystanders."

Police say Sullivan told them the first shot was to "disperse the crowd."

A short time later, police say the fight moved to the other side of the building, and one of the participants of the fight began driving a vehicle, striking other vehicles.

That's when Sullivan fired the additional 17 shots, police say.

"Four of the projectiles struck the vehicle that was hitting parked cars," the arrest warrant states. "The additional projectiles went in unknown directions."

Sullivan allegedly told police he only fired 2-4 times, but police say officers recovered 17 shell casings -- all of which were fired from Sullivan's gun, according to lab testing.

According to police, Sullivan has a concealed deadly weapons license, but no armed security license.

Shively Police arrested Sullivan at his home Monday evening. He is charged with four counts of wanton endangerment, according to the warrant.
