Hundreds of opportunities available at Louisville job fair

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – Several employers in the Louisville metro area are offering jobs in  a variety of fields as the end of year holiday season approaches. 

About 50 local area employers including Coca-Cola, UPS, VisionWorks, and Kroger will be interviewing to fill open positions at the JobNewsLouisville.com November Job Fair on Wed. Nov. 6 from 10am - 2pm at the Brown and Williamson Club at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

Hundreds of jobs are available at the fair. Other employers scheduled to attend include Yamamoto FB Engineering, Jefferson County Public Schools, Wesley Manor, Sam Swope, Lowe's, Colonial Life and several others.

Admission and parking for the fair are free. Attendees can enter the stadium lot from Floyd Street by entering the D E-J (Bronze Lot) and drive to the back of the stadium and enter Gate 6 of the stadium and taking the elevator to the Brown & Williamson Club on the 3rd Floor. Parking is available in the main lot next to the Red "Cardinal Express" train cabooses.

Opportunities range from entry-level to management in a wide variety of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing/production, sales, administrative, industrial, skilled trades, engineering, IT support, marketing, retail, hospitality, collections, customer service, financial planning, transportation, management, education/faculty, and security.

Attendees have the option of Pre-Registering online and avoiding potential long lines at the job fair by going to www.jobnewslouisville.com. The fair is sponsored by Time Warner Cable and Integrity Staffing.
