Reward offered to help catch serial robber

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are looking for the man they say robbed three Walgreens in the last month.  Authorities say the man robbed the pharmacy area looking for controlled substances.

So far, two Louisville Walgreens have been robbed -- one on Shelbyville Road and another on Frankfort Avenue.  A Jeffersonville Walgreens on Spring Street was also hit.

Lt. Jennifer Coe with LMPD said, "He actually has not shown a weapon.  However he has indicated that he has a gun, but no one has seen a gun in any of the three holdups."

Police say the suspect is a white man, 25 to 30 years old, and about 160 pounds, approximately 5-foot-9.

Kentuckiana Crime Stoppers is offering up to $2500 as a reward for information that leads to an arrest in this case.  Anyone with information can call 582-CLUE.
