LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say two adult men are facing felony charges after they stole skateboards from a group of minors.

According to arrest reports, it happened in the 4th Street Live! parking garage on the night of Thursday, Nov. 8.

Police say 38-year-old Joshua H. Crittendon and 35-year-old Kevin Wade approached five juveniles on the sixth floor of the parking garage. Wade allegedly choked one of the youths, and police say both men took off on the youths' skateboards.

According to arrest reports, the men rode the skateboards to the bottom of the garage, where security began chasing them. Police say they left the skateboards and tried to escape on foot.

Wade allegedly dropped his hat in the process.

Both men were eventually apprehended. They were arrested and charged with robbery, according to arrest reports.
