LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they have identified a suspect wanted for eight robberies.  They released his name late Wednesday, and hope surveillance images and the public's tips will lead to his arrest.

Police say Marc Hambric Jr., 29, has eight felony arrest warrants against him for robberies and "snatch and grabs" at BP, Circle K, Curtis Market, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Marathon, Stop & Go and Thornton's stores Louisville and Shively in the last two weeks.

Hambric did not display a weapon but used physical force to seize the cash in several of the robberies, police said.

Anyone with information on Hambric's whereabouts is asked to call the anonymous tipline at 502-574-LMPD or text "LMPD" followed by the tip to (CRIMES) 274637.
