LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Singer and guitarist John Mayer is helping out veterans on his concert tour which heads to Louisville soon.

Mayer will appear at the Yum Center on Tuesday, November 26.  At each stop on his tour, he has provided a veterans information booth where people can learn about post-traumatic stress and how to help veterans in their own area.

Veterans, active military, and military families can also share their stories by creating audio recordings at the booth.  Those recordings will be shared with scientific and non-profit organizations that help veterans.

Mayer is donating $1 per ticket on his current tour to support veterans programs.  He's raised $1 million so far.
