Louisville representative proposes casino legislation

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- There's another push for casino gambling in Kentucky.  Louisville Democratic State Representative Larry Clark has written proposed legislation that would allow three stand-alone casinos, plus five others at horse tracks.

Clark says it could generate $286 million in revenue for both state government and the horse tracks.

Gambling proposals keep popping up in the Kentucky Legislature without gaining enough support to pass.  If Clark's proposal is approved next year, it would be placed on the ballot for voters next November.
